This year’s 3 days comprehensive course cum workshop provides participants, with the opportunity to learn from various experts in the field of peritoneal surface malignancy. This up-to-date course will cover various malignancies alongside multiple options to manage peritoneal surface malignancies. There will be theoretical and practical aspects of the program. The practical session will allow hands-on learning of the ‘Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy’ (HIPEC) procedure, with a demo session of the ‘Pressurised Intraperitoneal Aerolised Chemotherapy’ (PIPAC) procedure. Participants can gain insights and practical, in-depth information on the technology, set-up, and technique of the delivery of the various clinical methodologies. In addition, the PIPAC section of this year’s workshop has been endorsed by the International Society for the Study of Pleura and Peritoneum (ISSPP). With the present COVID-19 relaxed ruling, we expect greater participation amongst regional and international speakers, instructors, and participants.

This conference aims to address all peri-operative aspects of the management of peritoneal surface malignancies which will equip a multidisciplinary team with the necessary skills and know-how to set up a service for the management of this disease as well as keep up to date with research in this area. Pioneers and leading experts will be giving their presentations and engage discussions on the various areas of the management, treatment and research advancements of peritoneal surface malignancies. A breakout session that focuses on the nursing and allied health aspect brings the knowledge and skills on improvement of patient outcomes in the realm of peri-operative care

Abstract Guidelines

The topic submitted must be peritoneal cancer-related. Interesting case reports and posters of educational value will be considered.

Each abstract should contain (a) an introductory sentence indicating the purpose of the study; (b) a brief description of pertinent experimental procedures; (c) a summary of new, unpublished data; and (d) a statement of the conclusions.

The combined length of the abstract title and body may not exceed 250 words, not including spaces and the author string.

Submission cannot be completed for abstracts that exceed this limit.

The Department of Sarcoma, Peritoneal and Rare Tumours (SPRinT) at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) comprises a team of surgical oncologists trained in the complex management of peritoneal surface malignancies, in collaboration with multidisciplinary experts from various sub-specialties.
